Motorists driving on Westminster and Steveston highways this afternoon should expect delays.
According to several Twitter posts, two vehicle accidents and one stalled truck is causing delays around Richmond on Thursday afternoon.
A vehicle accident involving a car and a pole has traffic blocked on Westminster Highway just east of No. 7 Road.
The accident has both directions of Westminster Highway blocked.
In a seperate incident, a vehicle crash at the intersection of Westminster Highway and Nelson Road is causing westbound traffic to be backed up to No. 9 Road and southbound traffic on the off-ramp from Highway 91.
Meanwhile, a stalled truck has the right turn lane at Steveston Highway westbound and No. 5 Road blocked.
Expect delays from the Highway 99 overpass.
