If you’re heading to McArthurGlen on Canada Day, you should plan to wear red.
The mall is holding its fourth annual Canada Day celebration. The event will kick off with free yoga classes and all participants are encouraged to deck out in their best, red workout attire.
The classes are being hosted by the Richmond Olympic Oval and YYoga. Beginning at 9 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. in the Luxury Piazza, yogis will get to stretch out to an all-Canadian playlist.
The mall is asking participants to arrive 15 minutes early and to bring their own yoga mats.
The celebration will continue into the afternoon with a family-friendly block party at noon, which will feature a live DJ – song requests are welcome – face painting, airbrush tattooing and artist-led chalk drawing. The block party will run until 3 p.m.
Canada Day also marks the start of McArthurGlen’s annual summer sale and extended hours.
