The City of Richmond has installed commemorative signs that double as photo stations around the community to congratulate the graduating class of 2020.

Six photo locations have been installed to give grads a safe and fun space to take their graduation photos with their friends and families.

“In a year of unprecedented challenge and change, the City of Richmond congratulates the graduates of 2020,” said Mayor Malcolm Brodie.

“We hope that adding these commemorative backdrops in some of our city’s most beautiful parks will help to create family memories that last a lifetime.”

The signs are also part of the city’s #RichmondHasHeart campaign that has been providing ways to bring the community together during COVID-19.

Grads are reminded to follow public health guidelines while taking photos such as maintaining a safe physical distance and avoiding groups of more than six people at a time.
