A two-vehicle crash closed the intersection of No. 4 Road and Cambie for several hours Tuesday afternoon.
A Honda Civic and a Lexus SUV collided around 2 p.m., and the doors of the mangled Civic had to be removed to extricate the victims.
"The collision was serious with multiple occupants transported to hospital," said Cpl. Dennis Hwang with the Richmond RCMP.
He said none of the injuries were life-threatening.
A witness at the scene shared photos with the Richmond News showing emergency responders crouching near the crumpled Civic. The witness said that vehicle appeared to be carrying two people.
