A Richmond high school is reporting a COVID-19 exposure for the second time.
Vancouver Coastal Health sent a letter to families and staff of RC Palmer secondary on Monday, stating that a possible exposure to the virus could have happened on Nov. 18 to 20.
Anyone identified as a close contact will be contacted directly by public health, according to the letter, and asked to isolate for 14 days from the last date of their possible exposure.
This is the second time that Palmer has been flagged for a COVID-19 exposure. Last month, VCH reported that there was a possible exposure at the school on Oct. 22.
Other schools to report exposures recently include McMath secondary (Nov. 12 to 13, Nov. 16 to 18); DeBeck elementary ) Nov. 17 to 19); Garden City elementary (Nov. 16); McNair secondary (Nov. 12 and Nov. 16); MacNeill secondary (Nov. 12); Kingswood elementary (Nov. 10); McRoberts secondary (Nov. 9 to 10, Nov. 12 and Nov. 13); Steveston-London secondary (Nov. 13); Mitchell elementary (Nov. 12 to 13); Hamilton elementary (Nov. 4 to 5 and Nov. 9 to 10); Talmey elementary (Nov. 9 to Nov. 10) and William Cook elementary (Nov. 9 to 10 and Nov. 12).
Two independent schools in Richmond have also reported exposures – BC Muslim School (Nov. 9, Nov. 12 to 13 and Nov. 16 to 17) and Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy (Nov. 16).
