Lupo is having his first solo show titled "I'd Rather Be Dancing" on Oct. 14, 2022, at the City Centre Motor Hotel.

A Vancouver street artist known for his grieving sculptures is debuting his first solo show.

Lupo started making his miniature and life-sized figurines last year, placing them around Vancouver in honour of the people he lost to violence, overdose, or suicide. The hunched over statues have been dubbed #belovedghosts by locals.

Now, the artist is having his first solo show, displaying artwork made in memory of those Lupo has lost to overdose and police violence.

"I'd Rather Be Dancing" is a collection of finger paintings, portraits, and cement sculptures that will be displayed at The Well inside the City Centre Motor Hotel on Oct. 14
