We’re not going to get anything like we did during Tuesday's snowstorm, but Friday evening and early Saturday on the roads in Richmond could be dicey.

Environment Canada has issued another special weather statement for Richmond and the surrounding region for the next 24 hours.

They are only forecasting about two to five centimetres of snow or freezing rain tonight, which should turn to rain by midnight.

However, the government weather agency predicts slippery conditions due to temperatures near freezing, “may impact evening commute.

“This event will have significantly less snow than Tuesday's event,” said the statement.

Saturday will see the clouds making way for sunshine in the afternoon with a high of plus five.

Sunday and Monday are forecast to be clear, sunny, but very cold with temperatures dropping to minus four.
