Arts and crafts are among summer programs and camps being offered across Tri-City communities for summer 2021 while following COVID-19 safety protocols.

As the school calendar year nears its end and COVID-19 continues to take a toll on mental health in young people, the Tri-Cities are hoping to mitigate those dog days of summer.

Across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody, several camps, programs and services are being offered for children, youth, adults and families starting as early as next month.

This includes a range of activities from art and crafts to sports and fitness either all day or on scheduled sessions.

Links to registrations are as follows, each with guidelines on how COVID-19 safety protocols will be met:

Additionally, School District 43 (SD43) is set to provide summer camps for students Kindergarten through Grade Five, half-day or all day.

COVID-19 health and safety protocols will be followed during the camps, which will be hosted by Miller Park Elementary, Central Elementary, École Pitt River Middle and James Park Elementary.

You can review the guidelines and information in the post below.
