Coquitlam's Centennial Pavilion (620 Poirier St.) is located in the same building as the Poirier Forum.

After six months in a temporary space across the street, Getaway Youth Centre is returning to its normal location.

In an effort to reduce traffic, the Coquitlam teen hub was placed in the Poirier Administrative Building for six months while the Poirier Forum and Centennial Pavilion was used as a COVID-19 mass immunization clinic between March and September.

It'll be back under new hours of operations starting Tuesday (Nov. 2) — located at 620 Poirier St.

Youth services and programs are set to remain the same and drop-ins will still be welcomed with no pre-registration required.

This includes group activities, social supports and other related services.

In accordance with B.C. COVID-19 public health orders, masks are mandatory inside the youth centre, Poirier Forum and Centennial Pavilion for visitors aged five years and older.

For more information, you can visit the City of Coquitlam's website.
