Drivers heading into Richmond via Highway 91 on Thursday morning should “expect heavy delays and congestion.”
In a tweet, DriveBC said there is a vehicle incident westbound on the East-West Connector, west of Westminster Highway.
Crews are enroute, however, traffic is heavily backed up.
As of about 8.30 a.m., westbound traffic was backed up to and over the Alex Fraser Bridge into Delta. There are also some delays along Highway 91A.
The Massey Tunnel is an alternate route, with no delays to northbound traffic.
