Looking for a little Irish luck to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this weekend? Check out one of these Richmond spots on Sunday, March 17th.

O’Hares Gastro Pub

O’Hares has been counting down the days until St. Patrick’s Day, and promises to be pouring Guinness all day long. Now celebrating its 32nd annual St. Patrick’s Day, O’Hares started the party off on Friday, but will continue the festivities on Sunday at 11 a.m. There will be Irish dancers, green beer, “boat loads of Guinness,” a DJ and plenty of Irish stew to go around.

Address: 5031 Steveston Hwy.

The Buck and Ear

The Buck and Ear is inviting all of its guests to “get lucky this St. Patrick’s Day” by entering to win a pot of gold jackpot. On Sunday, a $5 breakfast special is served until 3 p.m. followed by happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. And, of course, green beer will be served all day long.

Address: 12111 3rd Ave.

The Flying Beaver

The Flying Beaver promises to be serving drink specials all day long on St. Patrick’s Day included sleeves of green beer for $5. Wings are 60 cents after 4:30 p.m. and Irish specials will be on the menu.

Address: 4760 Inglish Dr.

Shark Club Richmond

Shark Club Richmond is inviting everyone to don their green clothes and get ready to party. Top up your beer with discounted Jameson shots or try a discounted Jameson and ginger.

Address: 10331 St Edwards Dr.

St. Patrick’s Day park run

For something a little different, try putting your energy to good use and take part in the Richmond Olympic Parkrun St. Patrick’s Day event on Saturday.

The free, timed (optional) 5K run, jog or walk goes every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. on the Middle Arm Dyke Trail. But this Saturday, with most of the Western world claiming to be part Irish for St. Patrick’s Day – officially Sunday, March 17 – Richmond’s parkrun organizers are encouraging everyone to “go green.”

Check out this article for more information on the park run.
