Richmondites can help “make miracles happen” by participating in Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day.

On Thursday, Aug. 9, proceeds for every Blizzard Treat purchased at participating DQ restaurants will be donated to the BC Children’s Hospital, one of the 14 Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals across Canada.

“Every minute, 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network member hospital for treatment. These hospitals rely on community donations to ensure each child receives the best possible care.”

The partnership between Dairy Queen and BC Children’s Hospital began in 1984, and DQ has raised over $135 million to date in support of children in need of medical support across North America.

Local DQ fans can help by visiting these Richmond locations:

  • 11099 No. 1 Road (Steveston)
  • 8980 No. 3 Road (Broadmoor)
  • 1708-6551 No. 3 Road (Richmond Centre food court)
