Lights, Base, Bounce at Apex Adventure Plex

The trampoline park is turning down the lights and pumping the music with a live DJ at this all-ages New Year’s Eve event. A $32 ticket includes two slices of pizza, a bottomless fountain drink and socks for the trampolines.

The old-school Steveston pub is offering a four-course meal before revellers move to the floor to dance until 2019. Tickets are $45.

Karaoke with Kage at Kingswood Pub

Grab some friends and get ready to take the stage and ring in 2019 by singing karaoke at this east Richmond bar.

Countdown at CAVU

Come eat, drink and dance at this restaurant in central Richmond. The night begins with a three-course dinner and Nikita Afonso Band will be providing live entertainment. Tickets for dinner and dancing are $65, and tickets for just dancing are $15.

The night begins with Dreams, a tribute band to Fleetwood Mac. Then Colin Wiebe and American Woman take the stage, celebrating the music of the Guess Who. Just before midnight, the Legends All-Star Band will lead the New Year’s countdown. To cap off the night, Rod and the Mods deliver a Rod Stewart tribute. $74.50 plus service charges.

NYE champagne cocktail hour at Fairmont Vancouver Airport

No reservations are required for this afternoon soiree at the Jetside Lounge (3 p.m. to 5 p.m.). Kick your New Year’s Eve plans off with a cocktail, live music and a fresh oyster bar.

Afterwards, the hotel is also hosting a New Year’s Eve buffet dinner followed by a countdown toast.

Band Dr. Strangelove will be playing music ranging from the 1950s to current top 40 at this 8:30 p.m.-til-late bash at the Pacific Gateway Hotel. Tickets include plenty of appetizers, a champagne toast and overnight parking. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will also go towards the Dreams Take Flight charity, providing trips to children with disabilities. There’s also a complimentary shuttle running to and from Bridgeport Station.
