Kwantlen Polytechnic University is hosting a Halloween-themed blood drive at their Richmond campus Oct. 31, inviting people to help save a life before going out trick-or-treating.
The event has taken a tongue-in-cheek approach, adding that participants can “starve a vampire” by donating blood on Halloween.
The drive is happening fro 1 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in Melville Rooms A and B. People who donate blood at the drive will also receive a coupon for 40 per cent off a drink at the Chatime location on Alexandria Road.
