Richmondites came out to Garry Point Park for the annual Christmas tree chipping event

Dozens of Richmond residents recycled their Christmas trees this weekend at the annual Christmas tree chipping event at Garry Point Park. Families strapped the firs to their cars and unloaded them to be safely disposed of by Richmond firefighters. The event, full of flames and some leftover Christmas cheer, raised money for the Richmond Firefighters Association and their charities.
