A new film celebrating the history of Minoru Seniors Society will debut at Richmond’s Culture Days later this month.

Minoru Seniors Legacy Stories, locally made by artist-in-residence Catrina Megumi Longmuir, highlights the past present and future of the society.

The film highlights individual stories as well as the society’s history from when it opened at the Murdoch Centre to its present location at Minoru Place Activity Centre.

The film will be screened for free on Sept. 28 at the Richmond Cultural Centre from 1 to 3 p.m. The artist will offer an introduction and there will be a performance by the Richmond Glee singers.
