Kudos: Steveston Seafood House gives partial profits to food bank

The Richmond Food Bank got a nice surprise on the weekend when the owner of Steveston Seafood House dropped off a $2,000 donation.

The Richmond Food Bank got a nice surprise on the weekend when the owner of Steveston Seafood House dropped off a $2,000 donation.

Despite only being open for take-out, restaurant owner Shane Dagan has been putting aside five per cent of all sales for the food bank during the pandemic.

Dagan said the amount “far exceeded our expectations. We will continue to donate five per cent throughout the crises.”
