A four-week support program is coming to Richmond next week, in the hopes offering tools for those managing grief.

Twenty years ago, Richmond resident Lorraine Wilson experienced loss and now brings her tools of mindfulness, meditation and communication to support others navigating their own grief.

The four week course begins Monday, Nov. 19 and runs over four sessions (Nov. 19 and 26, Dec. 3 and 10) or will begin again in January on Tuesdays (Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29). Sessions will take place at Richmond Caring Place.

“Through my own experience, I know it’s possible to find peace, even in the midst of the deepest grief,” Wilson says. “I am committed to sharing this knowledge and support to help others during this difficult time in life.”
