Free weekly meditation class in Richmond starts this Monday

Want to take a break and relieve stress from your busy work and life? Join the weekly free meditation session in Richmond.

From March 25 every Monday night, the public is invited to attend a free class hosted by Sahaja Yoga at Richmond Multicultural Community Services.

“The purpose of the class is to provide instruction on simple meditation techniques to anyone who wishes to learn and who wants to come together to enjoy meditation as a group,” said an event post.

“It helps reduce stress, increase wellness and maintain balance,”

Participants will perform guided meditation led by a volunteer, watch videos about meditation and learn about the inner subtle system consisting of channels and chakras, according to Sahaja Yoga.

Students will also learn how to apply simple and practical techniques that bring meditation into their daily collective experience.

The class runs from March 25 till Dec. 16, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Mondays at Unit 220, 4351 No.3 Road.
