The Justice Institute of BC and WorkSafeBC are hosting a free road safety workshop in Richmond Wednesday aimed at people who drive for work.

The session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on April 10 at the Pacific Gateway Hotel.

“Our vision is straight-forward – we want to help reduce the number of people that are killed or injured in a motor vehicle crash while they are driving in the course of their work,” said Angelina Robinson with Road Safety at Work.

The workshop will provide tools to managers and safety consultants to add road safety programs to their workplaces.

Robinson said the workshop isn’t just for businesses with commercial fleets, but for any organization with employees who drive a company vehicle or personal vehicle during their workday.
