Those behind the annual Children’s Arts Festival are giving families a sneak preview of the fun to come by setting up a free kids’ activity area at Lansdown Centre Saturday.

Kids can make things Build It Station hosted by the Vancouver Lego Club, or create some art with the Collaborative Comic Scroll and public art mural workshop.

There will also be pop-up performances from the Richmond Youth Dance Company.

The fun will happen from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the atrium in front of the Toys R Us in Lansdowne Centre.

City officials say Saturday is a taste of what’s to come on Family Day (Feb. 18) at the 11th annual Children’s Arts Festival.
