Songs in the Snow

Gather friends and family to welcome the holiday season with the Songs in the Snow concert series in Steveston Museum's Town Square Park. The series will showcase local professional and amateur performers. There will be vintage style crafts, refreshments and other activities offered. The series goes from 4:00pm to 6:00pm each Saturday evening whether it’s raining, snowing or dry. This event is for all ages. The Wonder of Winter

Get ready for the holidays with a Christmas concert! This year, the Richmond Singers will perform “The Wonder of Winter,” under the direction of Natasha Neufeld. The group promises to offer a wonderful selection of wintery delights for the season. More information at https://richmondsingers.ca/

A Hollywood Christmas

An evening dinner filled with theme music from your favourite Hollywood movies infused with popular classical tunes from Mozart, Beethoven and others!

What happens when you cross "The Empire March" from Star Wars with Beethoven's 8th? Or Vivaldi's four seasons with the famous song in Titanic? How about Super Mario Bros. theme music with one of Mozart's violin concertos? Not only will you have a delicious three course buffet dinner, you and your guests will be graced with a magical and delicious fusion of modern and classical music for your ears performed by The Modern Strings Quartet!

A Classic Christmas

It’s Christmas time with Richmond Orchestra and Chorus! A time to embrace and rejoice in the classic music of the past and celebrate the creation of new traditions.  For many, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a performance of Handel’s Messiah. Come prepared to join in on the magnificent Hallelujah Chorus! Get in the spirit with newer Christmas standards such as Polar Express, O Holy Night, White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Let it Snow!

The Spirit of Christmas

The Spirit of Christmas features members of the Richmond Orchestra sharing beloved Christmas classics and new holiday staples in this 3rd annual fundraising concert in support of the Richmond Food Bank. Admission for this event is by donation at the door with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Richmond Food Bank. More information at www.roca.ca.
