The City of Richmond is inviting the the public to review and comment on design options for the development of the Garden City Lands, which will be turned into a new 136-acre park.

There are two drop-in style public open houses: On Saturday, April 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday, April 27 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Both open houses will be held at Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road.

City park planners and consultants will be there to answer questions and help review information and the potential ideas that will be on display. Attendees can also complete a survey.

Those who can’t attend the open houses can visit LetsTalkRichmond.ca from Saturday, April 23 to midnight, Sunday, May 22 for the open house information.

Information gathered during the open houses and online will help refine the design for Garden City Lands before being presented to the public for discussion at additional open houses in May and prior to seeking council approval.
