Three Richmond businesses have stood out among hundreds of entries and were nominated for the Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) Ovation Award.
The annual award, held by HAVAN – the largest builders’ association in B.C. – aims to highlight the best projects HAVAN members have built, renovated, designed and marketed in Metro Vancouver.
Richmond-based Tien Sher Group has two projects nominated under the Best Outdoor Living Space category. Bodwell Developments was nominated for Best Custom Home: Over $3 Million, and Niebuhr Construction and Renovation was selected for the Best Interior Design Custom Residence: New or Renovated category.
“This is a major housing award for Metro Vancouver,” said Dawn Sondergaard, senior director of marketing and communication for HAVAN.
“It’s highly competitive, so to be named the finalist is held in high esteem.
“It helps distinguish winners as industry leaders, and it’s a nice way for builders to be recognized and for consumers to find them.”
There were a record 400 entries this year for the awards and 162 finalists were selected across 48 categories. Winners will be announced on May 4 at a gala in Vancouver.
