Conservatives, Greens name candidates to Richmond ridings

The Conservative Party of B.C. will once again run a candidate in Richmond-Queensborough – Kay Hale, who ran in the 2017 provincial election, is vying for the seat again.

She will be running against incumbent MLA Jas Johal and NDP candidate Aman Singh.

In 2017, Hale garnered 694 votes, about 3.5 per cent of the total vote.

In the meantime, the BC Greens have nominated a candidate in Richmond North Centre: Surrey resident Vernon Wang will be up against the BC Liberal incumbent Teresa Wat and NDP candidate Jaeden Dela Torre.

The provincial election is set for Oct. 24.
