Calling all anime fans!

Anirevo comes to Vancouver this weekend for three days of all-things-anime and Japanese pop culture at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Now in its eighth year, the convention offers games, music, and encourages attendees to participate in culture exchange. Cosplayers are encouraged to don their finest costumes and take a picture with one of the event’s exciting guests in the photo booth. They can also get autographs with their favourite guests.

There will also be hundreds of vendors and artists to browse through, as well as a live recording panel. The convention will even host the Gunpla Builders World Cup 2019 — a competition where modellers from around the world, showcase their completed gundam models.

The Animusix Anisong concert also takes place on Saturday night from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. featuring Yanaginagi, Asaka, and TAM & Ryusei.

The convention begins on Friday and runs through Sunday at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
