A car on the Steveston Highway overpass crashed into a guardrail earlier this afternoon, causing massive traffic delays in the area. Highway 99 was partially closed as a section of the guardrail hung precariously over one of its southbound lanes. At one point, the overpass was closed to both east and west bound traffic. Eventually, a single, alternating lane was opened.
