The Handsworth Royals senior girls basketball knocked off the Argyle Pipers 70-68 Thursday in a battle of two of the top-5 ranked teams in the province. Handsworth's Elisa Homer scored 42 points, including the game-clinching free
throws in the final minute, to give the Royals the win. The two teams will meet again in North Shore premier league action Feb. 5 starting at 7:30 p.m. at Handsworth.
