Letter: Alleged bawdy house operator living next to 7300 Elmbridge Way — how ironic

Dear Editor,

Oh lordy me, what has the neighbourhood come to?  

Firstly, we have do-gooders and love thy neighbour hand-wringers wanting to sweep the detritus of their society under the carpet right on 7300 Elmbridge Way. 

And now, in today’s (April 12) Richmond News, we learn that we have an alleged bawdy house keeper from Taiwan living on the same street at 7360 Elmbridge — which fronts onto the proposed homeless housing project — and is probably the very building generating  many of the cries of falling home prices, etc. That is the problem. 

How do we tell the difference between real criminals and those we think look like criminals? 

Probably the best answer is not to judge in the first place.
