American clothing retailer Forever 21 will be closing its Robson Street storefront later this month, leaving Richmond Centre as one of its last Metro Vancouver locations.

The two-level, 29,000-square-foot first opened in the trendy shopping district in 2012.

But don’t expect for the storefront to remain empty. An “exciting” new tenant has already leased the location, the Robson Street Business Association told Urban YVR.

In the meantime, the Robson store is having a fire sale to unload inventory with most items an extra 50 per cent off. Jeans are as cheap as $2.50 after the discount, according to Vanpeople.

After the Jan. 15 closure, fans of Forever 21 will be able to make their purchases at the remaining Metro Vancouver locations, including Richmond Centre, Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby and Park Royal in West Vancouver.
