Ribs + beer

Take your dad to lunch or dinner at Harold’s Bistro & Bar. Located at Sheraton Vancouver airport hotel, the restaurant is offering a $30 meal deal with an entrée of baby back ribs or a steak salad and a drink option of 14 oz. draught beer or 6 oz. glass.

Brunch

Father’s Day Brunch at the Buck & Ear Bar and Grill. Complimentary drink and $5 breakfast for all dads is served until 3 p.m. Reservation is recommended at jrg.ca/reservations.

Go fish!

Did you know this weekend is Family Fishing Weekend? Take your dad fishing at these Richmond shoreline fishing locations. Licensing and self-provided gears are required:

  • Imperial landing- a popular shoreline park in Steveston with scenic boardwalks and sunset views.
  • No. 3 road sports fishing pier- panoramic views of the Fraser River, Ladner and Mt. Baker.
  • No. 7 Road Pier- a restored former barge-loading pier with an open grass area and small beach.

Play catch

The Vancouver Canadians invites everyone to play catch with dad at the Nat Bailey Stadium between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. as a part of their annual Father’s Day catch event. Free fun for the family and attendees are encouraged to bring their own baseballs and gloves.

Car Free Day

Main Street Car Free Day 2018 - 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. This 20-block street party features live bands, street performers, market vendors, mini beer gardens and food trucks. Happening between Broadway and 30th Avenue in Vancouver.
