Surrey RCMP figure a bomb threat that cleared a Surrey community newspaper Wednesday was a hoax.

Police said Black Press's classified department received a threatening call Wednesday afternoon that led to the brief evacuation of the building at 5420 152nd St., where the Surrey Leader is located. A police dog searched the building and found nothing to substantiate the threat.
