Art about Finn Slough at Richmond Cultural Centre Atrium

Photography, painting, drawing, multi-modal work, writing, Art About Finn Slough welcomes a diversity of work about one topic: Finn Slough - a by-water of the Fraser River, South Arm in Richmond, BC. Finn Slough is a historical community that embraces the small-is-beautiful idea, embodying the delicate balance between the environment and the human. Located at 7700 Minoru Gate.

Spring Craft Fair at J.G. Diefenbaker Elementary

J.G. Diefenbaker Elementary (4511 Hermitage Dr.) is hosting its third annual Spring Craft Fair with over 30 vendors, raffle and silent auction with great prizes, balloon artist, kids' carnival games, concessions and more! Admission is free. Fun event for the whole family! All event proceeds to Diefenbaker PAC.

Free tax clinic at Richmond Public Library (Brighouse Branch)

With the tax season officially open, the Richmond Public Library and Family Christian Fellowship are offering free income tax clinics for low income families. To qualify for this free service, individuals must have a maximum income of $30,000 and a couple must have a maximum income of $40,000 plus $2,500 per child. Sessions are 45 minutes per person and couples must sign up for one time slot each. To register, call 604-231-6413 or visit the Brighouse Branch.

BCRMTA Scholarship Recitals

The Richmond Branch of the BC Registered Music Teachers Association will hold recitals starting at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday April 15, 2018 at South Arm United Church, 11051 No. 3 Rd. and Steveston Hwy, Richmond. A variety of audience pleasing selections will be heard. The Richmond Branch scholarships, Richmond Branch Community Service scholarships and Winifred Proud Piano scholarships will be presented.
