Enjoy an enchanting story in the great outdoors Aug. 15 at the Sharing Farm (2631 Westminster Hwy.). That’s where The Faerie Play will unfold (show times 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.). The story follows a child from the local theatre school who is taken by one of the farm’s resident fairies and must be found by the rest of the cast (and the audience) before she disappears forever into the fairy world. Get back in touch with grass roots Richmond at London Family Farm Day 2015 on Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. London Family Farm Day offers a variety of fun activities that include a petting zoo, pony rides, bouncy castle, face painting, live entertainment, bake sale, plant sale, craft fair, concession raffle prizes, and more, all set in amid this lovingly restored, landmark Victorian-era home and gardens. It’s happening Aug. 23 at the 7th annual Garlic Festival at Richmond’s Terra Nova Park (2631 Westminster Hwy.). Held from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The event is open to all ages and combines organically grown artisan garlic and garlic goods with family friendly activities.
