A relatively unknown, Canadian-based designer home boutique store has just arrived at Lansdowne Centre.

THINKA opened its doors Saturday, July 7 and specializes in intricate products including stationery, toys, accessories, makeup and snacks.

Their products are imported from countries such as the USA, China, Japan and Korea and cost from $2 and up.

The franchise also has stores at the Lougheed Town Centre in Burnaby and Guilford Town Centre in Surrey.

Richmond’s Lansdowne Centre will be facing redevelopment at the end of 2025, but the mall’s marketing manager, Bronwyn Bailey, assures the public that “no stores will be affected in the process.”

The redevelopment will be in phases and begin around the perimeters of the mall.

So, for the time being, THINKA, along with the brand-new T&T supermarket that’s set to open in late August, is here to stay for several years.
