Richmond artists showcased at Delta exhibition

Four Richmond artists’ paintings were selected to be featured at the 15th Annual Juried Art Exhibition in Tsawwassen. Titled Oil and Water , the exhibition features 85 paintings that were carefully chosen by three jurors out of 315 submissions.

Four Richmond artists’ paintings were selected to be featured at the 15th Annual Juried Art Exhibition in Tsawwassen.

Titled Oil and Water, the exhibition features 85 paintings that were carefully chosen by three jurors out of 315 submissions.

The art gallery attracted many attendees on its opening night on May 31 and has a long list of sponsors who donated several prizes to the exhibition.  

Artist Jim McFarland from Victoria was awarded with Best in the Show for his painting, Sunset after the Rain. Richmond’s Viena Wroblewska won an Award of Excellence for her quirky piece, How about a Margarita Beautiful?

Adrienne Moore, also from Richmond, received an Honorable Mentions award for her painting, Caterpillar Garden.

The art exhibition will continue until June 23 in Delta at 1710 56th St.. The gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
