Connaught Skating Club welcomed two-time Olympic medalist and former World champion Brian Orser (right) and  renowned choreographer Julie Marcotte to host a three-day seminar last week at the Richmond Ice Centre.  The seminar, titled "Designing Champions Art and Technique" focused on artistic and technical excellence. It was attended by 76 skaters from across B.C.  Orser, who is based out of Toronto, is now a world class coach, having worked with 2010 Winter Olympic women's gold medalist Yuna Kim of South Korea.
